There is a real Dead Chest Cay, Dead Man’s Bay and a hidden treasure chest full of pieces of eight waiting to be explored in the British Virgin Islands. Although the bay is stunning with palm trees lined the beach, its name sounds threatening to any one you want to visit. This is where Blackbeard’s, dead man chest was last seen. Stand on the spot where he deserted 15 of his crew with only one bottle of rum, as you imagine what is was like for the men to be looking out for passing ship.
