Jamaican Rum Punch


Jamaican rum punch is a cocktail that has a real kick. This drink is quite popular on the island especially during the Christmas season. The classic recipe is easy to make and can be remembered as 1-2-3-4. That is one sour, two sweet, three strong and four weak. This recipe can be switched around to make the punch sourer, sweeter or extra strong.


  • 1 cup lime or lemon juice
  • 2 cups syrup or fresh pineapple juice
  • 3 cups white rum
  • 4 cups crushed ice & water mixture

  • Mix all ingredients together in a punch bowl.
  • Chill until serving.
  • Garnish with slices of lime and/or pieces of pineapple.
