air-canada1Air Canada is the flag carrier and largest airline of Canada. The airline was founded in 1936 and provides scheduled and charter flights for passengers and cargo to over 180 destinations worldwide. It is one of the founding members of the Star Alliance, as its corporate headquarters are located in Montreal, Quebec. Its largest hub is at the Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario.

Air Canada flies to both domestic and international destinations, which includes British territories, United States, Asia, Europe, Oceania and the Caribbean. Along with its regional partners, the carrier serves other destinations in over 40 countries worldwide. All aircraft are fitted with lovely interiors, which serve all economy class routes from Calgary, Vancouver, and Edmonton to Honolulu, Maui, Cancun, Varadero, and Montego Bay.

Air Canada has two classes of service, business and economy, on most aircraft. On long flights international routes, Executive First and Economy Class are offered and on short flights and domestic routes, Executive Class and Economy Class are offered. Executive First or International Business Class is Air Canada’s premiere business class product, where the cabins are spacious and fitted with exceptional technology. 

Executive First Suites feature electronic flat beds, which are herringbone design with a 21-inch seat width and plenty of legroom. Entertainment is provided via an Audio Video on Demand, while the self-serve bar areas and mood lighting creates the ideal in-flight amenities you need. The Economy Class cabin also has plenty on legroom with wide and comfortable seats. On the international Economy Class, food and alcoholic beverages can be purchased from the Onboard Café, while non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary.

Aeroplan is Air Canada's frequent flier program, where you can earn miles to be redeemed for rewards on airline tickets, reservations at hotel chains and car rental agencies, or for merchandise or charitable donations. Aeroplan miles expire after 7 years, unless the member is a minor, or has Top Tier status that includes, Prestige, Elite or Super-Elite. Miles earned will also expire if the account does not show any activity for one full year.

Maple Leaf Lounges are available for you if you are holding a same day ticket on Air Canada in Executive Class, Star Alliance Gold Members, Air Canada Super Elite, Air Canada Elite, Air Canada Maple Leaf Club members, American Express Maple Leaf Club members, CIBC Maple Leaf Club card holders, American Express or AeroplanPlus Platinum holders.
