Morne Coubaril Estate sits on about 400-acres of lush landscape. While on your tour you can admire the 40-feet waterwheel in the Anse-la-Raye area, explore the wonders of the museum and theater. Morne Coubaril is actually a working plantation where you will see a historic sugar mill, cassava and petit houses filled with sweet cocoa. Amazingly, this estate house also offer you an insight into the island history when you visit the well-preserve museum with unique artifacts of colonial sugar days.

This is one of the remaining French sugar plantations on the island which thrives to produce tons of sugar, coconuts, cocoa and cassava. Explore the lovely gardens that provide a path of beautiful flora and fauna. On your tour will also see how sugarcane is turn into sugar and be able to taste cane juice freshly prepared. You can only stroll around the grounds of the estate as the living accommodation and the main buildings are off limits.
